Shame on you, CNN!
The western media coverage around the recent violent episode in Tibet has reinforced our sense of patriotism. CNN and the BBC used compromised photo/video evidence to play up the issue to their advantage. One BBC editor was so "common-senseless" that he used a photo which showed an ambulance and hospital workers and captioned it as "China has a heavy military presence in Tibet".

Others including Washington Post, French news websites and German TV stations led with photos or vids which actually showed Nepalese/Indian police but were ridiculously captioned as "violence-pro Chinese police forces".

Isn't it the moral code of journalism to be truthful and impartial? Clearly, some reporters and newsmakers at CNN and others know so little about China. They distort the facts and post their works in front of public eye without the least sense of shame.
Shame on you, CNN. You deserve the new name our fellow patriots have given you. And please learn how to behave morally and with integrity before you ask again for access to China's news market.

Mansa Intl
本人对门萨不是很感冒,但是还是去做了它网站上提供的一套模拟测试题,30道题做对了24题,说是a very good chance of passing the Mansa test...

Roach says "the worst might be behind us."
Stephen Roach, currently the Asian Chairman and chief economist on China of Morgan Stanley, met up with my boss this morning to discuss the economic future of China and the world. He remains cautiously encouraged as to how the world economy will pan out and reasonably concerned about China's nonetheless fast-growing economy and high inflationary pressure. He mentioned three reasons and cited the economic cycle theory in the context of US experience.
When I do what I do, my brain works like a memory machine: the information comes in, gets processed and then cleared from my brain on its way out. So I don't recall what Mr. Roach has said exactly. All I could remember is that he said he was worried that Chinese policy-makers were getting bad advice from economists who favored the idea of going easy on inflation, which was simply a result of rising food and energy prices. He said the situation was trickier than it looked on the surface. He emphatically said that the Chinese government should treat domestic policy actions such as wage rises more wisely and consider fully what such actions might entail before actually going into them. "The worst might be behind us", but still we should not make light of the possible downside risks.
Boss is very much a believer of Roach's theory, saying that his anti-mainstream readings and projections have mostly proven right in the end. I don't know, but I feel that there will be something bigger and more ominous in the offing. I only hope that the money I invested in the fund business will stop its value erosion.
Mr. Roach, fingers crossed that you're right: the worst is over and the best is yet to come!

The Comeback of James Marsden
We've seen successful comeback and not so successful ones. Michelle Pfeiffer, Demi Moore and Sharon Stone are all good examples. There might have been some plastic surgery involved, but anyways they all look amazing for their age.
Now talking about male stars. There haven't been that many comeback stars. But I've recently found one, James Marsden.
Since his role in Ally Mcbeal and the X-men series, this Tom Cruise look-alike hasn't been very film-active. He only made a brief appearance in the 2004 film "the 24th Day" opposing Felicity star Scott Speedman and the Notebook.
But in 2007, he's really made a comeback, looking more handsome with a mature edge at the age of 35. He's starred in Hairspray, Enchanted and 27 Dresses in a row, doing a lot of dancing, singing and comedy. It's like a whole-new persona, totally different than his previous characters.

Spring Is Full of Germs

My Property Dream

Vie and La Vie

I'm gonna read the novel...

Blogbus Gives Me the Crosses
Since Blogbus' latest system upgrade, I haven't been able to view the pictures and tune in to the music on my blog or any other Blogbus-run blog. It's really annoying and disappointing considering I just renewed the VIP service but now basically my blog is a paralyzed text-only webpage plastered with a lot of red crosses.
Strange enough, this only happens when I access my blog from home now.

Before now and when the problem is fixed, I guess I'll have to stick to plain text... Really depressing...

Daily Entry
